State Mandated 8-Hour Renewal Course

8 hour CCW Renewal Course – Live qualification to be done at Stage Stop Gun Shop in Atwater, CA. Course will be broken down into 13 sections. Student must complete each section, section quizzes, and final exam at the end of the course. Student may stop at any time, and come to course at any time. Student will have 30 days to start, finish, and print their certificate of completion from the time of purchasing the course. Certificate of completion for this course is good for 90 days.
Welcome to your state-mandated 8-hour CCW Renewal class. A renewal course will be required every two years to renew your California CCW.
This course is broken up into 13 modules of instruction that you will be tested on at the end of each segment.
You must complete the lecture or reading segment before you will be able to complete the segment test. Please pay attention to the timer at the bottom of the screen before trying to advance to the next section.
You may start and stop as much as you wish, but you will not be able to move on to the next lesson until you have completed the previous lesson and passed the section test.
Once you have completed the course, you will be able to print a certificate of completion for 30 days after completion of the course, so try to print your certificate as soon as you finish. You can also screenshot your certificate with your smartphone. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PRINT A REPLACEMENT AFTER 30 DAYS HAS PASSED FROM THE TIME YOU BEGAN THE COURSE. You will then take that certificate to Stage Stop Gun Shop for your “live-fire” qualification.
The shooting portion of your test can be done at any time Stage Stop Gun Shop is open for shooting. Student must call the shop in advance to schedule an appointment to come and finish the shooting portion.
To complete a lesson, you MUST wait for the timer at the bottom of each lesson to reach 0. Once the timer reaches 0, the “Complete Lesson” button next to the timer will be highlighted and allow you to click it to complete the lesson. Please do not use the Next Lesson, Previous Lesson links at the bottom as they will reset the timer and not allow you to continue and you will need to wait for the timer to count down again to complete the lesson using the button.
